We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Membership and outreach coordinator volunteer to join our Team.
Job Title: Membership and outreach coordinator volunteer
Location: Kisubi, Entebbe-Uganda with occasional travel to project sites.
Duration: 6-12 months
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow ACUS’s membership base and ensure member satisfaction.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events, campaigns and other community engagement initiatives.
- Manage ACUS’s social media platforms to increase visibility and engagement.
- Design and distribute promotional materials, newsletters, and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to enhance outreach and building strong networks.
- Represent ACUS at external events, conferences, and meetings to promote the organization.
- Support fundraising and grant-writing efforts.
- Ensure consistency in ACUS,s branding across all platforms and events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Event management or a related field.
- At least 6-12 months of experience in Membership coordination, Marketing-events, planning or Outreach.
- Proficiency in managing social media accounts and using analytic tools.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for conservation and environmental advocacy.
