The Avian conservation Uganda Internship Program offers eligible/qualified students at both the Secretariat and field offices the opportunity to acquire direct practical experience in Avian conservation Uganda’s work under the direct supervision of experienced Avian conservation Uganda staff.

1. You must be enrolled during the proposed internship period.
2. Duration: 8–12 weeks (longer periods may be considered for research-based placements).
3. Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Field days and weekend assignments may apply based on project activities.
4. Your academic performance should be excellent, as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
5.  Your application for an internship should be supported by your university or related institution. A minimum requirement is a letter from one of your lecturers/professors supporting your application.
6.  Applicants must have a demonstrated interest in the field of conservation or natural resource management.
7. Ability to adapt and work in a multi-cultural setting. Additional consideration can be given for any past participation in avian conservation Uganda’s membership events and prior membership to Avian conservation Uganda (ACUG).
