We are excited to announce that admissions are now open for the next intake at the ACUS School of Ornithology, a program of Avian Conservation Uganda (ACUS) dedicated to building the next generation of bird conservationists and ornithology experts across Africa and beyond.
If you are passionate about birds, wildlife, and environmental conservation, this is your chance to gain professional knowledge, practical experience, and hands-on field skills that prepare you to contribute meaningfully to the protection of birdlife and ecosystems.
Programs Offered
We offer two specialized programs designed for both beginners and advanced learners:
🔹 Basic Ornithology & Bird Conservation
Duration: 3 Months
Tuition: UGX 300,000 (East Africa) | USD 150 (International)
🔹 Advanced Ornithology & Bird Conservation
Duration: 6 Months
Tuition: UGX 500,000 (East Africa) | USD 200 (International)
Both programs combine classroom learning with practical field activities, birdwatching sessions, research training, conservation education, and real-world exposure guided by experienced ornithologists and conservationists.
