Avian Conservation Uganda Attends Uganda Tourism Annual Banquet
Avian Conservation Uganda was proud to join fellow tourism stakeholders at the Uganda Tourism Annual Banquet held at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel under the theme, “Celebrating Excellence, Strengthening Partnerships and Transforming Tourism.”
The event brought together leaders from across Uganda’s tourism industry to celebrate achievements, strengthen collaboration, and discuss the future of sustainable tourism. It provided an excellent opportunity for Avian Conservation Uganda to engage with partners who share a common vision of protecting Uganda’s natural heritage while promoting responsible tourism.
As one of Africa’s leading birding destinations, Uganda’s tourism success is closely linked to the conservation of its remarkable birdlife and natural habitats. Strong partnerships between conservation organizations, tourism operators, government institutions, and local communities are essential for safeguarding this rich biodiversity for future generations.
