In Uganda, the Rwenzori Batis is found primarily in the Albertine Rift Mountain forests, including: ● Bwindi Impenetrable National Park ● Rwenzori Mountains National Park ● Mgahinga Gorilla National Park ● Other montane forests in southwestern Uganda It inhabits montane and submontane forests, bamboo zones, forest edges, and dense woodland between approximately 1,400 and 3,000 metres above sea level. The species feeds mainly on small insects, caterpillars, spiders, and other invertebrates, which it captures among leaves and branches.

Migration Pattern:

The Rwenzori Batis is non-migratory (resident). It does not undertake long-distance migrations and generally remains within its forest territory throughout the year.

Migration Distance:

Occasionally, it may make short local or altitudinal movements in response to seasonal food availability.
