A Soft Voice of the Forest
The Little Greenbul (Eurillas virens) is a modest, olive-green bird that brings life to Uganda’s forests with its gentle calls. A member of the Pycnonotidae family, it is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN, with a stable and widespread population (exact numbers unknown). In Uganda, it inhabits tropical forests like Bwindi, Kibale, and Budongo, keeping to the understory. It is non-migratory, moving only short distances within its forest home.
